Plant in well-draining potting soil and keep soil evenly moist, watering when the top inch or so of soil is dry. Likes higher humidity so misting helps. Wipe the leaves regularly to remove dust.
Croton are sensitive to temperature and should be kept away from cold drafts. Low, inconsistent temperatures or low humidity may cause leaves to drop.
