Antique gold filled magnifying glass pendants
Magnifying glass pendants became popular during the Victorian and Edwardian periods, when practical accessories were often designed with decorative detail and worn as part of everyday dress. Gold filled examples offered the appearance of solid gold while remaining durable enough for regular use.
This antique gold filled magnifying glass pendant features a finely patterned frame measuring approximately 6–8 cm by 3.5–4 cm, showcasing the detailed metalwork characteristic of late 19th and early 20th century accessories. Originally intended for reading fine print, correspondence, or theatre programs, pieces like this remain valued today for both their functionality and their connection to Victorian personal accessories and design.
