Antique Victorian Chatelaine Spectacle Case

This antique Victorian chatelaine spectacle case is a beautiful and unusual 19th-century accessory, originally designed to hold eyeglasses while hanging from a woman’s chatelaine belt clip. Typically made in silver or silver plate with a velvet-lined interior, these cases combined function with elegant period design.
