Antique Edwardian yellow gold 15 ct. amethyst and pearl lavalier, circa 1900-1910

Stamped 15 ct. set with an eight natural amethysts , one 8 mm. square step cut, one 8 x 6 mm. pear shape, four oval faceted cuts 6 x 4 mm. and two 6 m. round faceted cuts. The amethysts are a fine dark purple well matched with minimal inclusions. there are 5 accent seed pearls. The necklace is 16 inches long with a 2 inch centre drop.  The necklace weighs 6.9 grams. Newer spring ring clasp. In very good condition in original box JW Benson, Ludgate Hill, London.
