Prefer lots of bright light, at least 6+ hours a day
Water thoroughly but let the soil dry completely before watering again. They do not like to sit in soggy soil for long periods of time as that leads to root rot. Water less often in the winter months
Many succulents are considered toxic, be careful with them around pets and children
