An open cafe in Montmartre, Paris. It’s the off season and you still need to get up early to get shots before people are rushing for that first coffee and croissant. If you have been there, you are aware of all the twisting roads and variety of street levels. Great place for a photographer and this shot was taken from a higher elevation looking down. Almost all the chairs were predictably facing the street for cafe patrons to enjoy their favourite pastime of people watching. This was so obvious to me at that moment, the title and how I was going to process it actually came before I took the image.
